49 times 6x6 cm

This was first a collage. One where I had put all sorts of paper and snippets of drawings quite randomly together. I didn't really like the result. For years it was lying around in my studio and losing pieces of it to paintings. Today I took what was left of the original and cut it in as many pieces of 6 to 6 cm as possible. A total of 49 squares. Arranged like this on a tabletop it looks quite beautiful.

I'm thinking of researching some of the pieces individually and making new art from that.
